Quantum3 was developed in response to a worldwide lean initiative in manufacturing.
Quantum3 is a new innovation in Aluminium Framing systems based on lean principles. The Quantum3 system has many uses amongst which are,
- Machine Frame construction
- Workplace Furniture solutions
- Conveyor Solutions
- Safety Guarding
The system was developed and designed with the help of two industry insiders, Jorg Buchs and Artur Middleton.
Jorg Buchs has used many kilometres of aluminium during his 20 years of experience in a multinational company in Technical and production Manager roles. Jorg is extremely familiar with medium/high volume manufacturing and his former job as manager of the Special Purpose Machine build department within Braun, Ireland gave him a unique insight into the requirements of the ideal aluminium framing system. His later roles in Braun of Value Stream manager and Lean manager also added to his understanding of the direction of management principles and best practice within manufacturing industry and how these could be best reflected in the Quantum3 concept. Jorg has a degree in Mechanical Precision Engineering
Arthur Middleton has over 25 years experience as an automation engineer in medium to high volume manufacturing environments. This experience is spread over different industry sectors, different roles and three different continents.
Arthur is a Batchelor of Engineering (Mechanical) Graduate. He also has a Diploma in Digital Electronics and a Masters in Engineering Design.
The combination of knowledge of these two designers has resulted in an innovative , aesthetic and functional system based on lean principles.
This is a system innovated in Ireland.
